I couldn’t be happier that I decided to put more time and love into this blog. When I started out on YouTube back in 2009, I had no idea the adventure I was embarking on. At the time I was a Social Media intern working for Avon in New York and my boss asked me to do some research on emerging trends on YouTube beauty channels and better understanding the YouTube beauty community. I jumped in headfirst (as I always like to do) and started creating videos on my channel, RachMartino. For a laugh, see my first ever video here. Six months later, I created a French channel to help practice my conversation skills before studying abroad in Angers, France. While beauty has always been my main passion, I’ve always had a soft spot for style and fashion. Moving to new york in May 2012 quickly caused me to up my wardrobe game. I also realized the impact of bloggers in the Big Apple. I was lucky to find Jeff, my photographer through Danielle, better known as the fabulous blogger behind We Wore What. I love shooting my favorite looks and sharing them on the blog with you here and I hope you’re all enjoying the journey with me.
