New Yorkers have a strong tendency to wear black. Despite having lived in the for 2 years at the end of May (#wow), I haven’t lost my lust for color. This outfit is no different. I found this dress on Lulu*s and I knew I had to have it! I love the swingy shape, feminine color and especially the unexpected keyhole on the lower back. That little details adds so much fun and interest to the dress without being overwhelming or inappropriate. I wore this look to work and everyone commented on my ‘bright dress for spring!’ I kept the youthful look grounded and office-ready with opaque black tights and black court shoes from J. Crew.
