The Little White Dress

Dress: Ann Taylor, Shoes: c/o Schutz, Belt: Fossil, Lipstick: Mac Lady Danger

A few years back while I was living in New York interning for mark, a brand of Avon, I discovered the power of the ‘little white dress.’ I realized quickly they often commanded more attention (and admiration from the gentleman folk) than a little black dress. I remember strolling through Central Park in my LWD and feeling so youthful and beautiful and ever since I’ve learned to keep my eyes peeled for the perfect little white dresses (another favorite one shown here). Fast forward to last week when I was meeting a friend in the Flatiron district and I passed by this dress (currently 40% off with code Shop40) in the window of Ann Taylor. I ran in, tried it on, and promptly bought it in a matter of about 15 minutes (New York life, y’all!) I am absolutely smitten with the sweet blue clipdots and incredible flattering shirtdress fit-and-flare cut of this LWD. It’s equally cute for a picnic or for a work day. I love it with a bright red-orange lip, my favorite Mac Lady Danger, of course – it brings a kicky retro vibe to the look. I paired the dress with grey suede sandals from Schutz, a skinny black belt and a low ponytail to balance the sweetness of the look. Do you guys love a little white dress like me?
