I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: summer in the city
is my absolute favorite. My love affair with New York has been on
fire these last few weeks and I’ve enjoyed every minute. The weather had
been capricious to say the least with hot, sticky days followed by torrential
downpours then almost fall-like chills. Three years into my New York adventure,
I can honestly say I’m still so happy with my new home. So, when Kipling asked
to partner with them to share my #KiplingMakeHappy moment, I knew I wanted to show my
happy New York life. It may be filled with ups and downs (like when I fell down
the subway stairs yesterday) but it’s always exciting for better or for worse.
And, as every New York woman knows, having a great bag with A LOT of space is absolutely
essential for crazy Manhattan life. That’s why I’m crazy about this Kellyn tote from Kipling. It doesn’t look very big but, I kid you not, during this
photo shoot it held 2 pairs of shoes, my wallet, sunglasses, travel makeup kit,
and 4 foundations (I like to stock up when I can!) The tote is super durable
and lightweight and can withstand soggy Subway rides and the wear and tear of
running around this City. All in all, I’m enamored with New York and it’s
really starting to feel my own. I feel as though I’m becoming the woman I’ve always wanted to be here in this wild metropolis.
