Paris by Bike

As you guys may know, I’ve been working on this exciting project called “Am I French Yet?” with Maison Jules. The video series centers around all things French from Parisian style to how to pick the perfect wine pairing. For my trip to Paris I brought a few Maison Jules pieces to showcase my favorite things to do in the French capital city. Without a doubt, the thing I love most to do in Paris is ride bikes using the public bike sharing system called Velib. There are over 14,000 bicycles at 1,230 stations across Paris so it’s easy to find a vélo. It’s without a doubt the best way to see the city. For exploring the city of lights by bicycle I chose this adorable polka dot blouse & black skinny jeans from Maison Jules. The top is perfect for spring time and can easily be paired with jeans or a sweet pleated skirt. I love the pattern and the slightly ruffled collar which is a darling feminine detail. We decided to take the bikes out to Lac Daumesnil in Bois de Vincennes, a lovely park on the outskirts of Paris. It was about a 5 mile ride from our Airbnb and a perfect way to stretch our legs after eating way too much cheese. The park is beautiful with lovely landscaping and boats for rent along the lake.
