Easy Halloween Hairstyles with Goody

I am so excited to team up with Goody this fall to share
some fun and easy hair styles! What better way to kick off our #GoodyHairDay
series, than with some awesome Halloween looks?! I’m going to share two simple
hairstyles, a Witchy Spider Braid and Adorable Doe Buns. You only need a few
essentials from Goody, which you probably already have in your bathroom.  Here’s what you’ll need:
Goody® Colour Collection™ Bobby Pins

Goody® Clean Radiance™ Paddle Brush
Goody® Ouchless® Mini Elastics
And some faux spiderweb with plastic spider rings. I picked
mine up at my local pharmacy where I found all the Goody supplies I needed.
I like to start this style with textured hair – so I used a
curling iron to create waves. Next I brushed through the length of the hair
with the Goody® Clean Radiance™ Paddle Brush. This is my new go-to brush not
only because it’s pretty enough to keep on the vanity but also features copper
bristles which help reduce buildup and restore hair’s natural balance.
Next, I pull all the hair to one side and secure with a
clear Goody® Ouchless® Mini elastic.
After creating the side ponytail I cut a strand of the faux
spider web and tie it around the base of the ponytail.
Once the ‘web’ is tied around the ponytail, split the hair
into three sections including the white web in one section.
Then, simply create a simple three-piece braid keeping the
web material in the same strand throughout. This way, the white will show
through in the braid. When finished braiding, tie the web around the end of the
ponytail which will create the effect of an even longer braid. Cut the excess
carefully with scissors.
To create a bulkier braid, gently pull the braid apart to
add texture and volume.
Next, using another piece of the spider web material pull
the web apart create a more sheer effect. Then begin to drape it over the braid
and pin to secure in the back using the Goody® Colour Collection™ Bobby Pins.
Then, you can add the plastic ring spiders to the braid by tucking either side
of the ring into the braid and securing with bobby pins.

You can also use some of the leftover spider web to tie
around a witch hat to complete the look!
Et voila! Witchy woman!
For the next look I was actually inspired by the Deer
Snapchat filter that seems to have become the new puppy dog filter. To create
this look I used the following products:
Goody® Colour Collection™ Bobby Pins
Goody® Clean Radiance™ Paddle Brush
Goody® Ouchless® Mini Elastics
Halloween candy optional, but recommended 😉
This look looks great with straight or curly hair, so I
decided to wear mine in soft waves. I start by detangling the hair using the
Goody® Clean Radiance™ Paddle Brush. I then create an (almost) middle part in the
hair.
Next I take two 1” to 1.5” sections in the front of the
crown that I will be using for the buns (or deer ears). Using the Goody® Clean
Radiance™ Paddle Brush I gently backcomb the section to add more volume to the
hair.
Next, I twist the hair counter clockwise to begin the bun.
Then I roll the hair into a bun and secure with a Goody® Ouchless®
Mini Elastic. Then I gently pull at the bun to create a slightly larger ‘ear.’
If any hair starts to fall out I use the bobby pins to secure the hair in
place.
Repeat the process on the other side to create the second
‘ear.’
Once both buns are finished, you’ve completed the look – no
filter needed!

Thank you Goody for sponsoring this post. All opinions are
my own.
