A Night on Park Avenue

Sure I like my apartment in lovely Greenpoint, Brooklyn but when Loews Regency offered a night in their incredible hotel in Midtown, how could I turn it down?! The hotel is located on 61st & Park Avenue. It opened in 1963 & went through a huge renovation in 2014 so it has incredible vintage charm with modern amenities throughout. We had a chance to check out one of the six signature suites designed by Nate Berkus. The suite was so incredible with a full dining room, large living room, wrap around balcony & luxurious master retreat. I loved the design and took note for my own decor! The signature suites have partnered with one of my all-time favorite brands, Kate Spade New York to feature complimentary sleepwear to all guests who stay in the suites in the month of December. I love the soft charmeuse pajamas with confetti heart details! I also picked out a head-to-toe, day-to-night look at the Kate Spade Flagship store which is just around the corner from the hotel. It’s an incredible space with four floors, I spent over two hours there just admiring. Scroll down to see more photos & hear more about my experience at the hotel!

We took the subway from Brooklyn over to Midtown on a mild Sunday afternoon. Before heading to the hotel we took a pit stop at the Rockefeller Tree to admire its beauty! I love visiting the tree a few times each December. We then walked over to the hotel & grabbed brunch at the Regency Bar & Grill. I had some delicious blueberry pancakes and Gerry had a goat cheese omelet. The hotel lobby had it’s own gorgeous Christmas tree so of course we took a few photos in front of it before heading up to the Suite.
We checked out the Suite and fell in love with all the art and furnishings. The view from the balcony was truly breathtaking! What an incredible feature. I was ready to move in!
After relaxing in the room for a while we decided to hit the town. I put on my favorite red lipstick and new (gorgeous) Kate Spade pumps and we headed out to dinner in Midtown.
Because it was a ‘school night’ we came back to the hotel pretty early and I changed into my Kate Spade Pajamas. We opened some wine, watched TV on the couch and then hit the hay.

The next morning we woke up to the incredible view over the city from the suite. After some pillow fighting Gerry left for the office and I went over to the Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa located inside the hotel. There I had one of the best massages of my life – a 60 minute Rosemary & Mint Hot Stone Massage. I left Midtown and retreated to Brooklyn starting my week on an incredibly high note!

Special thanks to Loews Regency Hotel, Kate Spade New York & Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa for proving this incredible experience.
