Day in the Dress: White Eyelet Shirtdress

This past weekend, Alex and I had a delightful Saturday afternoon. Thanks to my darling photographer Jeff, who gave us a few lessons in depth of field, aperture & street style shooting, we brought my trusty Canon Rebel t3i on the town to capture our day. We started at my favorite new local coffee shop, Blind Barber. I ordered an iced coffee, and Alex got an espresso. Then we headed to the Williamsburg Farmers Market in lovely Mccaren Park. We picked up some lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, asparagus and apples. I wanted to buy some of the gorgeous rhubarb to make Strawberry Rhubarb pie, inspired by my blogger pal Mara (see here recipe here) but Alex talked me out of it, since we had a lot if Paris planning to work on that evening. For the outfit, I wanted something sweet, and light with a hint of pin-up. This eyelet shirt dress paired with my well-loved Seychelles retro red heels was just the trick. And for the lips, I gravitated towards my favorite summer red, Mac Lady Danger. I hope y’all enjoyed this post, I’m working on incorporating more of my day to day life into my outfit posts! And a big thanks to Alex, show him some love in the comments as this was his first time shooting one if my blog posts!
