Weekend at the Venetian Vegas

I love traveling to places I’ve never really explored so when the famous
Venetian Resort LasVegas invited me to stay a few nights, I was sold! I was honestly blown
away by the beauty of the hotel with the grand marble entry, real Italian-style
gondola rides and so many restaurants and shops. It really was a dream come
true! The first day we arrived we were warmly welcomed with champagne and
chocolate strawberries – the suite was absolutely gorgeous and spacious with a
view over the strip. But we headed straight to the exclusive party for ShopStyle
x
Venetian Vegas at Mott 32 inside the hotel with special guest Audrina
Patridge! I had to get a photo with her, and she was incredibly sweet and
gracious. After the cocktail party we had a delicious Italian meal under the
painted blue-sky ceiling at Sixth & Mill. We capped off the night with
drinking and dancing at the club Electra, all within the
Venetian! The next
morning, we had brunch at the most adorable French bistro, Bouchon
(which is French for ‘cork’), a Thomas Keller restaurant. I had a delicious Croque Madame with fries and a fresh
orange juice mimosa. I wish all my mornings started like that! Next, was my
favorite experience of the whole trip, a gondola ride! I’ve been dreaming of
doing a gondola ride all my life and I was so happy to have la dolce vita right
here in the US! I loved the singing gondoliers with their striped shirt and
sunny smiles, and we snapped a ton of awesome photos on the boat! Next, we
stopped at Black Tap to try their out-of-this-world milkshakes. I got the
Birthday Cake milkshake complete with AN ENTIRE SLICE OF BIRTHDAY CAKE on top
of the shake. For dinner that evening we enjoyed a taste of South America at
Chica. This restaurant was my favorite of the trip. We enjoyed watermelon
margaritas, fresh ceviche, lamb, and Peruvian skirt steak. Afterwards we had a
chance to see the
Venetian’s in-house show, Atomic Saloon, a raucous performance
of acrobatics, dancing, and comedy. We were bent over laughing and ooh-ing and
ah-ing at the acrobats. Afterwards, it was more drinking and dancing at the
Dorsey. With a gracious late check out we said goodbye to Vegas with a send of
brunch at Yardbird with a cinnamon roll the side of my head, scrambled eggs and
a kale salad. Thank you so much for the team at
The Venetian Resort and ShopStyle for
an amazing weekend I will never forget.
